SPS Commerce is growing! We are looking to add a Consultant I to our Customer Success team. As an implementation consultant you believe in collaboration and teamwork. You demonstrate a high level of urgency and are naturally curious and take initiative. In this role you will use your project management skills and technical aptitude to work directly with external customers and internal partners. As a Consultant I you will work among a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for our customers.  You will research, isolate, diagnose, resolve and follow-up on problems for customer change events. When necessary, you will also manage escalated events as appropriate. 

  • Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing implementation project.
  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.
  • Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
  • Conduct tasks and assignments as directed
  • Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Track progress of Implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved 


Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.


Preferred Experience


  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results
  • A balanced mix of skills: driver and facilitator, tactical leader and doer
