SPS Commerce is growing- We are looking for an Implementation Specialist/Consultant to join our Fashion & Sporting Goods team. As a Specialist/Consultant I or II you believe in collaboration and teamwork. You demonstrate a high level of urgency and are naturally curious and take initiative. Day-to-Day

 

The Specialist/Consultant works in a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for customers while ensuring the overall success of the implementation. They will be responsible for verifying the quality of the customer’s technical solutions and trading partner products. In addition, they will be responsible for tracking, identifying, and communicating defect trends to the corresponding teams for resolution.

 

  • Facilitate problem research, isolation, diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up for customer change events, managing all escalated events appropriately, when necessary. 
  • Execute installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration as part of completing implementation project. 
  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products. 
  • May consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.  
  • Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress. 
  • Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. 
  • Track progress of Implementation project(s).  Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved.   

 

Education and Experience

 

Specialist/Consultant I

 

  • High school diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. 

 

Specialist/Consultant II

 

  • High school diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Prior ERP, SaaS, EDI, integration, implementation and/or configuration experience 
  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results. 

 

Preferred Experience

 

  • A balanced mix of skills:  driver and facilitator, tactical leader, and doer. 
  • Familiarity with file formats- XML, CSV, etc.  
  • Experience with text editing and data mapping tools. 
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of mapping tools and functionality.
