The Day to Day

The Financial Reporting Senior Analyst will partner across the Finance organization to prepare financial statements and other disclosures for SEC reporting. This role will assist in improving existing processes to make them more efficient and reliable. Additionally, this role will execute on Finance projects and have the potential to assist in technical research. Essential responsibilities include:

• Prepare SEC financial statement reports (10K/Q/Proxy), on a quarterly and annual basis
• Support Investor Relations document and process (Press Release)
• Partner with account owners and other teams to enhance current process and accuracy of financial and non-financial information
• Utilize and optimize tools available to assist in the reporting process, such as Workiva (reporting/filing tool) and Microsoft BC (ERP)
• Research technical accounting matters, as needed
• Assist in maintaining and tracking accounting policies and significant accounting transactions
• Fulfill external audit requests
• Be a proactive business partner to other departments within the organization by providing accurate and consistent reporting
• Execute on non-recurring financial projects, as needed

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of Financial Reporting, including SEC regulations and underlying GAAP accounting
• Previous public company Financial Reporting experience as either an auditor or an employee of a publicly traded company preferred
• CPA (active or inactive) preferred
• Experience with the existing applicable SPS software technology stack, including Workiva, Business Central, BlackLine, and/or Intelligize preferred
