Description

The Consultant I - EDI Testing (Testing & Certification) works to Get After It within a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for our customers. They will research, isolate, diagnose, resolve and follow-up on problems for customer change events.  When necessary, they will also manage escalated events as appropriate.

Day-to-Day

 

EDI Testing (Testing & Certification) is a unique team within implementation that makes a large impact on suppliers who need to test and certify doing EDI with SPS Commerce. Remaining customer focused, this team gets great exposure by working with many other areas of the business to Succeed Together - sales, customer success managers, and technology teams to name a few. 

  • Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing implementation project.
  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.
  • Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.
  • Conduct tasks and assignments as directed.
  • Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
  • Track progress of Implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved. 

What experience and skills do I need?

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Experience

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results
  • A balanced mix of skills: driver and facilitator, tactical leader and doer
