Position Summary:    

We’re seeking to hire a Manager II for our Sales Program Management team. In this role, your purpose is to train, coach, and develop the Program Management team, ensuring expected results are met with an eye on future needs. This role will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of our Trading Partner onboarding is maintained with a strong focus on retailers moving through a change management program. In doing so, this role will work closely with cross-functional management to identify opportunities and execute on those opportunities. 

 

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Lead a team of program managers responsible for designing and implementing vendor change management programs with Retailers while focusing on maximizing the number of vendors who commit to a program (sales) while minimizing disruption to the Retailer  
  • Accomplish leadership objectives with direct reports by a variety of means: select, orient, train, coach, develop, and manage employees; communicate job expectations, team vision and purpose; plan, monitor, appraise job contributions; recommend compensation actions; adhere to policies and procedures 
  • Responsible for the ownership of sales results versus forecasted expectations on large change management vendor communities 
  • Responsible for working with the program manager in leveraging their internal account team as needed to ensure leads and results are maximized 
  • Serve as a Community onboarding expert in cross departmental projects 
  • Identify team and cross-functional process improvements by working with other members of the Community leadership team, from idea to implementation, including the development of training materials 
  • Evaluate team efficiency and capacity planning through the use of People, Process and Technology 

 

Location:    

This role will office out of Minneapolis, MN, onsite 2-3 days per week.

   

Required Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of Management Experience, and 5+ years of relative work experience 
  • Proven history of coaching, mentoring, and leading others in either formal or informal situations 
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally on process definition and improvement 
  • Passionate about meeting the needs and expectations of an external customer 
  • Experience leading an external customer-facing team 
  • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback 
  • Demonstrative behaviors around self-driven initiative and collaboration 
  • Ability to coach soft skills and elevate team members ability to be proactive in customer management 
  • Effective communication, change management, problem-solving, and organizational skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Retail experience 
  • 1 + year of experience leading an external customer-facing team 
  • Efficient in Excel reporting and basic formulas 
  • Salesforce, web analysis and reporting tools
