Position Summary:   

The Solution Architect is responsible for creating solution designs for product and/or platform capabilities in alignment with the overall technology strategy. This role defines innovative, scalable, and resilient solutions aligned with business and technology roadmaps, championing group standards and policies to ensure successful delivery. Reporting through the Enterprise Architecture team, this role will partner with product and technical domain leaders to effectively collaborate, lead, and guide technology solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:   

•  Produce, promote, and validate high-quality solution designs and application architectures that align SPS principles and strategies with defined business requirements 

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to produce the current state/target state, and drive transition plans of the roadmaps 

• Support and advocate for policies, procedures, and best practice design principles  

• Leverage the knowledge of industry trends and best practices to produce solution designs  

• Support the creation of platform roadmaps  

• Develop positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives 

• Support the development of business solutions; identifying a variety of solution patterns, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches via technology enablement 

• Promote  adoption of emerging technologies throughout the entire tech organization 

• Review technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, architectural vision, guidelines and leverages best practices  

• Promote innovative ways to bring new products and customer experiences to market for testing, validation, and additional investment

Required Qualifications:   

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

• 3+ years solutioning complex business solutions architecture with a focus on Cloud Native platforms 

• Understanding and producing application architecture, system design 

• Understanding of cloud technology, main capabilities, and their purpose 

• Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis and solutions design and integration 

• Experience in Agile Product Development environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:   

•  Experience and delivery of SaaS solutions 

• Experience with Retail technology solutions 

• Experience in Supply Chain technology solutions 

• Experience with various ERP functional solutions architecture 

• Demonstrated ability to deliver full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation for various functional architecture solutions

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.   

The annual salary range for this role is: $138,800-$222,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.    

Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
