Position Summary:     

We are looking to hire an Executive Assistant for our CEO. This person is a key strategic partner and trusted confidant responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, logistics, and communications for the Chief Executive Officer. This role demands the highest level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and able to anticipate the needs of a dynamic executive leading a fast-paced, publicly traded organization.  

 

Key Areas of Responsibilities:    

 

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including proactive calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and expense reporting.
  • Ability to manage complex scheduling and travel across many time zones and geographies
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and details are not overlooked.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison, maintaining open lines of communication with internal teams, the Board of Directors, external partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Draft, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents.

Board & Investor Relations Support

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for Board meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, distributing board books, and documenting minutes.
  • Liaise with the Investor Relations team to support the CEO’s interactions with analysts, institutional investors, and other market participants.

Meeting & Event Management

  • Organize and coordinate high-level meetings, management meetings, and leadership offsites, including ELT quarterly offsites and annual strategy planning meetings.
  • Prepare and facilitate agendas for weekly ELT meetings. Prepare pre-meeting briefs and post meeting summaries with clear action items and follow ups.

Strategic Project Support

  • Conduct research and prepare executive summaries or briefing materials on key business topics.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and communication.

Travel & Logistics

  • Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and contingency planning.
  • Ensure the CEO's time is maximized, and that travel is seamless and efficient.

 

Location:     

This is a full time / 5 days a week in the office with occasional remote work aligned with CEOs schedule based in our office in downtown Minneapolis.

    

Required Qualifications:    

  • 7+ years of experience supporting C-Suite executives in a corporate or publicly traded company environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills across various mediums (in-person, email, Zoom, and phone)”
  • Strong time management, organizational and project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and executive tools (e.g., Concur, DocuSign, Slack, Zoom, Directors Desk) and other similar portals and technology.
  • Experience coordinating Board and investor-facing materials or meetings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be responsive after-hours as needed.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated, capable of executing tasks with minimal oversight. Or “Ability to work independently with sound judgment while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Proven success in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, with flexibility and adaptability as priorities evolve.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, approachable relationships with stakeholders, including board members, external partners, investors, and analysts.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in investor relations, corporate governance, or legal/corporate affairs.
  • Familiarity with public company reporting cycles, earnings calls, and regulatory constraints.

 

What We Offer:    

At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. SPS provides the annualized compensation target inclusive of base salary and annualized commission target for this role.

 

The annual salary range for this role is: $77,300 to $115,900. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
