Position Summary:  

We're looking for a Sr. HRIS Analyst (Workday) who can jump in as both a functional and technical expert. In this role, you'll handle everything from configuration and reporting to data integrity and making sure Workday is running smoothly to support our HR goals and Business Partners.

You'll partner with teams across the business to roll out smart, efficient solutions that boost compliance, streamline operations, and create a better experience for employees. You'll also play a key role in mentoring team members and helping us keep improving the system.

Reporting to our Director of HR Tech & Analytics, you’ll be a go-to person for all things Workday - especially in areas like Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Absence, Reporting, and Security. You may also pitch in on other Workday projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Manage configuration and administration across key Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Absence, Security, and Reporting.
• Partner with HR COEs and business partners to design scalable, strategic solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Lead implementations of new features and enhancements - owning everything from requirements and design to testing, change management, and training.
• Build advanced reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and drive system improvements, manage roadmaps, and recommend enhancements aligned with business needs and Workday updates.
• Perform regular audits, troubleshoot issues, test solutions, and escalate when needed to ensure process accuracy and reliability.
• Support annual HR cycles like comp planning, benefits enrollment, and performance reviews.
• Follow change management protocols and SOX compliance, maintaining strong documentation and data confidentiality.
• Act as a data steward to ensure system integrity and alignment across the enterprise.
• Mentor junior team members and help grow internal HRIS expertise. 

Location:  

This role is either hybrid out of our Minneapolis office or Remote, based on the candidates geographical location.  For hybrid office locations, we Succeed Together though in-person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.    

Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in HRIS or HR Technology
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience with demonstrated experience leading Workday enhancements, implementations, or optimization initiatives
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders to solve complex business problems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work with global, cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
• Ability to embrace change and suggest innovative solutions to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with additional Workday workstreams such as Talent, Learning, and Recruiting
• Experience with annual HR cycle processes (e.g., compensation planning, open enrollment, etc.)
• Experience managing vendor or third-party relationships
• Advanced experience with data modeling, reporting, and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and any RPA tools
• Familiarity with Agile project methodology
• Experience working with systems such as Oracle, Anaplan, UKG, ADP, Cornerstone, iCIMS, etc.

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.  

The annual salary range for this role is: $77,300 - $115,900. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
