Position Summary:  

The Assoc. Sales Operations Analyst reports into the Deal Desk Team within the Revenue Operations organization focused on contract support for SPS’ prospects and customers. In this role you will assist Sales with all pre-sales contract matters, such as responding to quote and contracting requests from Sales, researching and accurately capturing the terms of the sale, reviewing standard contract terms, and resolving contract issues with non-standard adjustments. This role will also assist Sales with post-sale closing Salesforce Opportunity review.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support Sales teams in contract creation: partner with Sales Leaders to create accurate quotes/order forms and contracts for new and additional purchases; manage day-to-day contract drafting - standard and custom, including research and clarification of deal details; partner with Sales Leaders to understand close plans and timelines
  • Advise and partner with Sales Leaders on non-standard deal structure and required approvals
  • Finalize custom contract requests, ensuring proper approvals are on file and records are updated for reporting and management
  • Manage deal and request flow in alignment with priorities communicated by direct leadership
  • Review contracts to ensure sales are accurately recorded in the system of record (Salesforce.com) in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies and procedures
  • Identify potential training issues and coordinate with internal teams to develop and deliver training and sales enablement tools
  • Support and advise the Sales teams globally to address general business and/or system (Salesforce.com and CPQ) questions or issues, as well as contractual options and terms; use judgment to escalate issues
  • Document key findings, progress, and insights in Salesforce.com
  • Provide support for other Deal Desk Team responsibilities/functions, such as Salesforce Opportunity processing and countersignatures
  • Support broader Revenue Operations team as needed to manage high volumes
 

Location:  

This role is hybrid out of our Minneapolis office, 2x a week.  For hybrid office locations, we Succeed Together though in-person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.  (This role will also consider current SPS employees located across the US.)

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR combination of equivalent education and relevant experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and can manage multiple concurrent responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator (verbal, non-verbal, written) with people in a variety of job roles and levels internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic, fast-based environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contract drafting experience
  • Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ (quoting system) experience
  • Contracts certification and/or training from contracting associations

The hourly pay range for this role is: $24.57 - $36.88. The actual pay offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
