Position Summary:  
The Community Business Analyst will be a supporting member of the Program Management team. The position’s primary responsibilities consist of working with internal and external data sets to optimize the information in a way that best sets our teams up for success and cross collaborating to mine data and perform ad-hoc analytics to spot business trends. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a high growth and fast paced team.   

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with a Program Manager to accurately represent a Buying Org’s trading partner list in a way that is easy to analyze and provides accurate information to our sales team.   
  • Mine data and perform ad-hoc analytics to highlight and spot business trends that help support our Buying Organizations and the Community Sales department.  
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce/Power BI to create dashboards, reports and visuals 
  • Drive best practices, create training, workflow enhancements, reporting, and overall system enhancements to promote usability and adoption.  
  • Propose new methods for evaluating information, incorporating best practices from other areas of the organization  
  • Support internal requests related to supplier engagement & outreach  
  • Keep business stakeholders informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective and timely delivery  

 

Location: 
Minneapolis HQ — Hybrid schedule, typically 2–3 days onsite weekly 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, AND 3-5 years of relevant work experience  
  • Manage and prioritize simultaneous requests with the ability to manage laterally and upward  
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail  
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel  
  • Ability to build dashboards within Power BI 
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment and exhibit grace under pressure  
  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator (verbal, non-verbal, written)  
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on projects to their completion and be responsible for outcomes  
  • Inherent aptitude for change and challenge of the status quo  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Python & Salesforce 

What We Offer:   

At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.   

The annual salary range for this role is: $69,000 - $90,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
