Position Summary:  

The Staff Technical Program Manager Program Manager is a core member of the Enterprise Systems Portfolio Management Project Management Office and will be responsible for managing multiple projects/programs that are diverse in scope where good judgment and problem-solving skills are required. The Staff APM can analyze problems with certainty and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and practices for execution. This role is expected to evolve our best practices and coach peers on improvements. This role oversees end-to-end governance, coordination, and execution of complex, multi-workstream technology programs, including enterprise-wide ERP and CRM transformation initiatives.  This position requires strong collaboration across business and technology teams, executive-level communication, and the ability to drive alignment across multiple workstreams.  The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in program governance, stakeholder management, release management, budget oversight, and enterprise-scale technology delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Establishes governing protocols, forums, and stage gates, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget are monitored, evaluated, and that impacts and decisions are properly documented.
  • Creates, monitors and updates program roadmaps
  • Drives alignment across workstreams and ensures inter-dependencies are identified, tracked, and managed.
  • Leads release management/cutover activities across program workstreams, ensuring coordinated deployment schedules, readiness assessments, and post-release defect management and evaluations.
  • Oversees program-level budget planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Measures program performance and ensures timely adjustments are made to maintain program effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
  • Finalizes and submits program status reports ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and Development Managers, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

Location:  Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid — onsite 2 days/week) 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in program or project management within a technology organization
  • High-energy, patience, empathy, flexibility, openness to change, diplomacy, teaching/training/coaching, public speaking
  • A seasoned servant leader, strong communicator, strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Effectively manage priorities with ability to juggle multiple demands and reprioritize as necessary to align with changing objectives
  • Proven success managing multi-project programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, change control, release management, budget oversight, and executive reporting.
  • Expertise with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with virtual teams and comfortable driving cross functional teams to clarity, agreement, roadblock removal and execution while communicating impact, value, and progress, with little guidance

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • PMP, PgMP or equivalent Certification
  • Experience leading ERP, CRM or similar transformation initiatives
  • Proficient with various Atlassian tools including, Jira, Jira Align, Confluence

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.  

The annual salary range for this role is: $113,700 - $164,00 + Bonus & Equity. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
