Description

Finance at SPS Commerce is evolving — and this is your chance to be part of something big. As our business scales and our global footprint expands, we’re building a finance organization that does more than manage numbers — we provide strategic insight, ensure compliance, and deliver the financial clarity that powers smart, global decision-making.

We’ve reimagined how we work, combining deep technical expertise with a forward-thinking, data-driven approach. Our team is structured around key areas like Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Tax, and we collaborate through cross-functional teams that support distinct regions, business units, and global initiatives.

As our International Tax Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life — developing and implementing SPS Commerce’s corporate tax strategy, identifying international and domestic tax planning opportunities, and managing global transfer pricing analysis. You will lead international tax compliance and oversee the U.S. tax impacts of our international operations, ensuring we meet evolving regulatory requirements while optimizing our global structure. Reporting to the Director – Tax, Payroll & Equity, you’ll work closely with financial reporting, accounting, and external firms to support growth initiatives and maintain the financial integrity of our expanding global business.

Who We Are:

SPS Commerce is a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners. We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued. Join SPS Commerce and be part of a dynamic team that’s transforming the global retail supply chain!

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate, develop, and execute tax planning strategies to minimize the Company's global tax obligations for all tax types, as well as minimize compliance and administrative burdens
  • Manage global transfer pricing analysis, reporting, and related intercompany documentation and processes
  • Prepare international components of the US tax compliance, including related computations, forms, and disclosures
  • Research, analyze, and monitor international and domestic tax laws and developments, seeking to identify tax planning opportunities, and communicate necessary updates to leadership and other stakeholders
  • Assist with the international and planning related aspects of the Company’s quarterly tax provision calculations, memos, and analysis
  • Manage non-US income tax compliance, including coordination with external accounting and tax advisors
  • Identify and help maximize international and domestic tax incentives including R&D credits, and e-business credits
  • Lead tax related M+A efforts including due diligence, tax and entity structure planning, and post-acquisition integration
  • Provide support on various finance and tax strategic initiatives and projects

Where You’ll Work:

This role is hybrid, based out of headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. We Succeed Together through in-person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of relevant experience and a minimum of 3 years of public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of US international tax rules including GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credit, CbC reporting, OECD, digital service taxes, and VAT
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal and state tax incentives and reporting requirements
  • Ability to work well independently, managing competing priorities
  • Advanced organization, analytical, and research skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and external partners
  • CPA and/or a Master's degree preferred
