SPS Commerce is growing- We are currently looking to add a Senior Business Development Representative (Senior BDR / Sr Retail Development Manager) to the retail sales team. This growth is due to territory expansion and current team member promotions. As a Senior BDR, you will work to create and uncover new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting within your assigned territory. You will have anywhere from 60 to 100 accounts that you will be working with at any given time. You will be researching the accounts in your territory, identifying change events or triggers that might lead to a business opportunity for SPS Commerce. You will prospect into various departments and contacts across each account to get engagement. The Account Executive will continuously seek net new business derived primarily from outbound prospecting, territory management, and periodically going onsite. This position will pull in resources from the sales engineering team and work to transition business to our implementation team. Once a new customer is onboard, this account will remain as part of the territory for possible upsell. SMB customers are constantly expanding and changing, so their needs change as well.
