Careers don’t just grow here, they’re made here.   The Day-to-Day   The Student Community Partnership Manager is primarily responsible for the coordination and management of all student intern programs that support the SPS Value of Give Back.  This role will have the opportunity to introduce new programs to the company over time, which may expand beyond a focus on students in the future. The Student Community Partnership Manager will ensure great experiences for students and for SPS to help launch young people into further education and ultimately into meaningful careers they may not have imagined.  Responsibilities may include: - Secure positions/roles/work assignments across SPS Commerce - Ensure oversight, management and mentoring of students in collaboration with their assignment supervisor - Provide onboarding and ongoing coaching to students/participants to grow their confidence, skills, work readiness and help prepare them for future careers - Design and deliver, or secure and support, development programs for participants to improve communication, problem solving, decision making, conflict management, project management, time management, and other broad professional skills - Provide coaching, support and extra care for students who may be in the workforce for the first time or have challenges beyond work and school that may derail them - Coordinate with the program leads from Cristo Rey, Dougherty Family College, Genesys Works to ensure students are well-supported and SPS is meeting our obligations as well as holding each program accountable for their role - Partner with SPS managers as they bring student interns into their teams, setting clear expectations for their role as a leader of interns, and providing coaching and guidance. - Network with people in similar roles at other Minneapolis companies to share best practices and implement internally - Participate in and possibly own programs related to Diversity & Inclusion that extend beyond the student programs - Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide support for other hiring efforts with new graduates, new diversity hires, hires from special recruiting efforts that may require additional support such as veterans, or special needs programs that help give back to the community Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional office experience PLUS 2-5 years of relevant experience managing programs, developing people, coordinating with external programs/agencies - Experience working with teenage and young adults in some capacity such as teaching, volunteer work, social service, etc. - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work proactively and independently with limited supervision - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Demonstrated ability to support, empathize, coach, mentor and communicate with young people who may have challenging home situations or may not have had access to good support networks outside of school and SPS - Strong leadership skills and the ability to set and monitor expectations; provide strong but caring feedback and coaching - Willingness and ability to deal with conflict and provide tough feedback when necessary but build stronger relationships in the process - Ability to use general office tools (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel) and to learn other tools in order to be fully self-sufficient in managing the programs - Prior supervisory experience preferred EOE including veterans/disability.

Careers don’t just grow here, they’re made here.   The Day-to-Day This role will partner with our largest business unit in addition to one our newest business units.  Teams that are supported are in North America (US and Canada), Europe, and the APAC region.  We rely on our HRBP team to lead the way in organizational design, leadership coaching and advising, and performance management.  This role will manage a growing team of HR Generalists.  Essential Responsibilities will include: - Maintain strong business relationships with business unit leadership; viewed as trusted business advisor - Maintain a thorough understanding of global business strategy and business unit goals - Partner with business unit leadership in the development and implementation of a Human Resources strategies and initiatives in support of and aligned to business strategy - Provide strategic consulting, planning, and implementation support on an array of topics including but not limited to, organizational design and effectiveness, change management, cultural management, recognition and reward, workforce planning, diversity, equity & inclusion, performance management, retention, engagement and key talent development - Partner effectively with peers, associates and Human Resources Centers of Excellence to create and implement solutions to achieve business goals and strategic objectives - Monitor and analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, problems, etc. that could impact business results - Lead, counsel, develop, and effectively direct work and results global HR Generalists that support assigned business units - Operationalize human resources initiatives, quantify results and monitor and measure effectiveness - Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations - Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operating plan and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects - Key capabilities will include:  Global Mindset, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Data and Trend Analysis, Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Coaching and Advising Leaders, Talent Development.
