Our product team at SPS Commerce is growing again!  We will be hiring a Product Owner, as part of our Community Product team.  You will be responsible for conveying the product vision created by Product Management to the engineering team by creating user stories, user story acceptance criteria and accepting these stories as part of the definition of done. You will work closely with peers to articulate priority and manage delivery trade-offs. You will own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog - consulting with product managers, prospects, customers, and other stakeholders. In this role collaboration and daily communication are key to being successful in this role. You will work with the engineering and user experience (UX) team, develop product technical specifications and requirements according to customer needs and product vision.   Does this sound like you? - You have a background in Software as a Service (SaaS) and Supply Chain. - You have a Get AfterIt attitude and enjoy challenges because you are a life-long learner. - You enjoy collaborating with your peers across teams and maintain open lines of communication. Careers don’t just grow here, they’re made here.   Day-to-Day - In this role, you’ll be conveying the product vision created by Product Management to the engineering team by creating user stories, user story acceptance criteria and accepting these stories as part of the definition of done. You’ll work closely with peers to articulate priority and manage delivery trade offs. - Partner with product manager(s) to understand the market and the customers you are serving to convey that vision to engineering and other stakeholders. - Leverage that market understanding to better inform day to day tradeoffs of features and timing - Manage and refine requirements-gathering effort on the epics as needed, consulting with product management, prospects, customers, and other stakeholders. - Respond to questions from developers and clarify requirements related to voice of customer (VOC) and business requirements. - Participate in scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, grooming and release planning. - Iterate product designs in collaboration with UX and engineering. - Write acceptance criteria as part of user story creation.   Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience. - Experience working with Agile or SaFe Agile - Preferred experience with Supply Chain, EDI or SaaS **EOE including disability/ veteran*
