What is the day-to-day like?
You will own a portfolio of projects, driving them from contract signature to project closure. The Associate Business Analyst I is responsible for contributing to the development cycle of SPS products and services in the Trading Partner Development’s Network team. This includes managing the initial design/build, ongoing changes, and bug fixes as necessary. This person will contribute to a range of design-related activities, producing an internal, retailer-specific, “design” artifact.
- Consults with external retailers to determine business requirements and translates these into SPS canonical language.
- Designs and maintains retail-specific products for vendor communities through a combination of analysis of retailer and industry requirements and interpretation of EDI strategies and execution of service.

The Implementation Specialist/Consultant works in a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for customers while ensuring the overall success of the implementation. They will be responsible for verifying the quality of the customer’s technical solutions and trading partner products. The Day to Day:
- Analyzes large datasets, typically of multichannel marketing campaigns to tease out insights and identify performance drivers. Includes digital media (display banners, paid search, social media), offline media (TV, print), website data (UX, SEO) and CRM programs
- Creates outputs including monthly dashboards, quarterly deep-dive reports, as well as other ad hoc and campaign specific analysis
- Ties campaign engagement to tangible business outcomes for ROI calculation
- Work closely with business users to design, develop, and maintain ad-hoc reports and analyses that track and measure specific marketing projects such as customer journey enhancements, specific Marketing campaigns, and digital product initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation for both standard and ad-hoc reports
- Generate and present reports that support marketing/sales initiatives
- Perform data audits and maintenance

What experience and skills do I need:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in excel work
- Experiencing building and analyzing reports in Salesforce
- TECHNICAL SKILLS: Experience building reporting dashboards (Tableau, DOMO, Lookr, etc.), writing SQL queries, rolling up data and analyzing large databases to find customer insights; Experience accessing digital data via APIs and other tools; Experience with a scripting language a plus (R, Python, Perl)
- ANALYTIC SKILLS: A/B Testing, Customer Segmentation, Hypothesis testing, Full and Partial factorial testing design
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally including applied statistical analysis

This role is designed and positioned to be a strategic partner to HR peers, managers and our senior leadership team.
