Careers don’t just grow here; they are made here.    The Day-to-Day   The Corporate Accounting Manager will have oversight of daily accounting operations, management of an efficient month-end close and calendar, reviewing general ledger entries and account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, maintaining our system of internal controls, supporting the external audit, and assisting in due diligence and integration projects relating to acquisitions.  This role also includes partnering with internal stakeholders such as Financial Planning & Analysis, SOX/Process, Financial Reporting, and Controllership.   - Effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team; provide balanced workloads, training, coaching, goal setting and performance reviews. - Manage an accurate and timely month-end close process for the Americas close checklist and maintain processes and procedures to ensure an efficient and reliable close within the team. - Support the legal entity framework and consolidation processes as applicable. - Review general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Lead these programs to ensure work is completed accurately, timely and completely. - Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring consistency and continuity across the general ledger setup, chart fields are well-defined and controlled, and ensuring the appropriate access levels have been provisioned and de-provisioned. - Oversee execution and review internal controls and partner with SOX/Process counterparts to ensure controls have been appropriately identified, maintained, and executed upon. - Partner across the organization to resolve complex issues. - Support the external audit by assisting and completing audit requests in a timely manner. - Assist with merger and acquisition projects and related integrations. - Lead and support various projects, including process improvement and systems initiatives. - Partner with various internal stakeholders, such as FP&A, SOX, Financial Reporting, and Controllership-teams (primarily, our accounting teams within international offices). - Support, lead and/or execute projects related to Finance and corporate Strategic Initiatives.   Must haves - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field - 3-5 years relevant experience with demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal) - A broad understanding and appreciation of accounting practices outside of accounting operations - Public company experience, particularly working with external auditors - Highly collaborative communication style and practice   Nice to haves - Prior experience in a publicly traded company - CPA certification   EOE including disability/ veteran  SPS Commerce offers a comprehensive package of benefits including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid time-off, 401(k), health and flexible spending accounts, stock purchase plan and more.

** Please note this is a hybrid role based out of our office in downtown Minneapolis, MN**      We are seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Director, Accounting Operations Shared Services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our accounting operations shared services function. This is a new senior leadership role in the organization responsible for leading the customer billing and global payment operations areas. The new Accounting Operations Shared Services combines many aspects of our customer billing and vendor payment areas, including, but not limited to, customer billing, cash receipt/application, vendor payment and expense reimbursements. This leader will be instrumental to leading a team of professionals in achieving consistent global practices and maximizing the use of processes and systems to achieve a high-level of operating performance, compliance and accuracy in each of these areas. As a Corporate Attorney for SPS Commerce, you would be responsible for owning the preparation, review, and negotiation of customer/sales contracts with our sales department, vendor contracts, and other company agreements, and will drive process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies in contract management. You would also be responsible for the Company’s privacy compliance program and will partner with the technology and security teams to support the Company’s cybersecurity program and related technology initiatives. In addition, you would partner with the General Counsel and other leadership to oversee risk management and integrate risk management into the business.     In this role you would frequently interact with customers, vendors, and all internal departments, and will provide legal guidance within the organization on a variety of legal, risk and compliance-related topics. Engage in negotiations with customers on contract terms and conditions. - Review vendor contracts and partner with the Corporate Paralegal to enhance the vendor contract management process. - Update, as necessary, all standard contracts and forms (e.g. customer contract templates and forms; vendor contract templates and forms), ensuring proper version control and distribution to the teams as appropriate, including rollout and training on updated forms and templates. - Advise on domestic and international privacy laws and regulations, including state specific privacy regulations, GDPR and other international privacy laws. - Manage the SPS privacy compliance program, including education and training on compliance with the Company’s privacy program. - Act as lead attorney supporting the technology and security teams on the Company’s cybersecurity program and other technology initiatives, including those relating to the Company’s management and use of data. - Support the General Counsel and other senior leadership on the Company’s risk management processes and policies and the integration of such processes and policies throughout the business. - Proactively partner with a wide variety of business leaders to drive company projects and initiatives.   Minimum Requirements - J.D. and active Minnesota license to practice law required, with 5+ years of in-house and/or law firm experience, with at least 2+ years of in-house experience. - Strong knowledge of contract law and privacy laws across multiple jurisdictions. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage competing priorities and demands with minimal supervision. - Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively verbally and in writing - Prior customer service and/or project management experience - Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)   SPS Commerce offers a comprehensive package of benefits including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid time-off, 401(k), health and flexible spending accounts, stock purchase plan and more.   EOE including disability/ veteran
